2回目のパキスタンへ。
行ったことの無い場所へ行くのが好きな自分にとって同じ国に2回行くことは珍しい。
複数回行くと、よりディープな所に行くことができる。
This was my 2nd time in Pakistan
It is not common for me to go to a same country more than once, for I like to go to somewhere I have never been.
You get to go to a deeper place when you visit a country multiple times.
パキスタンには妻が住んでいる。（かわいい～）愛猫と共に。
そういったご縁もあって、今回2回目のパキスタン旅行となった。
My wife works in Pakistan. With a(n) (ADORABLE) cat.
To visit them, I traveled to Pakistan for the 2nd time.
愛猫チャイ/ Her name is Chai
これまで2回のパキスタンの思い出をいくつか。
Some memories from my two trips.
まず思い浮かんだのは・・・食事。（食べるのが好きなもんで・・・）
朝、仕事に行く人たちでごった返すダバで、手際よく焼かれるパラタ、茶葉も砂糖もたっぷりの濃いチャイ。
よっぽどお腹が空いてたらグリーンチリ入りのオムレツも。
お昼はスパイスで米を炊き上げたピラウ。
夜はケバブとナン。
おいしい・・・。
What comes to my mind first is… food. (i love eating…)
A busy dhaba serving freshly fried paratha and strong chai with lots of tea leaves and sugar.
You can add an omelet with green chili if you’re really hungry.
And have spicy pilau for lunch.
Kebab and naan for dinner.
So good…
朝ごはんが印象に残っている。
鉄板の上で、たっぷりの油を使って揚げ焼きされるパラタはサクサクもちもち。
シンプルでストレート。
ボクシングでいうと左ストレートみたいな。
その後、昼のピラウでボディを喰らい、夜のケバブ（右フック）でノックアウト。
（他にも・・・カレーや様々なスタイルの煮込み系の料理も美味しい。）
Especially the breakfast is unforgettable.
The paratha is fried on top of a steel pan with lots of oil, and has this distinctive texture.
Simple and straightforward.
Its like the left straight punch in boxing.
After that, you get hit in the body with the pilau, and finally knocked out at dinner by the kebab (right hook).
(Other than that… Curry and variety of stew dishes are also delicious.)
焼きたてのパラタと熱々のチャイ/ Fresh paratha and hot chai
あとはやっぱり、布。（布も好きなもんで・・・）
北の方にあるスワット地域で、人々が身体を包む羊の毛で出来たショールは、機能的で模様がかっこいい。
ひとりひとり異なる模様が編み込まれたショールを羽織り、遠くからみるとみんな同じ様に見えるが近くでみると個性が光る。
他にもアフガニスタンやトルクメニスタンの絨毯（もちろんペルシャも）も。
カーペット屋は宇宙。
もう年代も模様も大きさもパターンが無限大のカーペットたちがとめどなく積み上げられている、宇宙。
今日は買う！と決めてズキュンと胸を打たれたやつを買う、予定。いつか。
And, textiles. (I love textiles… too…)
In Swat region in northern Pakistan, the shawl made of wool is functional and fashionable.
They may all look the same from far away but there are clear individuality in different patterns and design.
You can also find carpets from Afghanistan and Turkmenistan (and of course Persian carpets).
A carpet store is… like an universe.
Countless numbers of carpets in various age, shapes, and patterns are stacked up and its… just endless.
One day, I will, with a firm commitment to buy one, pick the one that strikes my heart.
ラホールという町もすごかった。
古い町並みの写真を沢山撮った。
The city of Lahore was memorable too.
I took many pictures of the old streets and buildings.
人口2億人。日本より全然多いなんて知らなかった。
ガンダーラはパキスタンにある（インドではない）。
（ゴダイゴもガンダーラはパキスタンにあることを知りながら歌詞の相性からインドにしちゃった、と言っているそうです。）
色んな新しいことを知る。
Population of 200 million people. Never knew that it was far greater than Japan.
Gandhala is in Pakistan (not India).
(There is a famous 70’s Japanese pop song called “Gandhala” and the lyrics say that Gandhala was in Inidia. The artist admitted that they knew Gandhala was really in Pakistan but sang it India purely for it fit better “lyrically".)
New learning.
